How to fix Flickering screen samsung smartphone

Do you see unusual behaviour on your smartphone screen, like it starting to glitch or a green or yellow light starting to appear? Well, hello to all my Samsung smartphone users! In this article, I will discuss the Samsung screen flickering problem. First, we will discuss the causes of this problem, and then we will discuss its solution.

Why is my Samsung screen flickering randomly?

  • System UI failure or software glitch: This is one of the most common problems users face, and the maximum number of users are facing this screen flickering problem because of this reason. In this case, you don’t have to panic; mostly, this problem can be easily solved just by restarting the smartphone or forcing a reboot.
  • Water damage: If your smartphone came into contact with water due to any reason and water is present there, this will also cause this problem. You can fix it by placing the water in mild sunlight for 1–2 hours. Do it carefully; if the heat is too high, it can permanently damage your smartphone, too. If this doesn’t work, then visit any service centre. Please don’t tamper with your smartphone by doing anything else, like using a hairdryer or anything else. A hairdryer can spread the water in the phone circuit, which can cause more problems.
  • Phone screen flickering after dropping: If you have dropped your smartphone anywhere, then you may also see this problem. There may be any damage to the smartphone’s LCD display, or your LCD display flex cable may have broken because of dropping the phone.
  • Battery problem. If you have seen any problems with your battery before and you have been using your smartphone for a long time, Then, at this time, it’s time to replace your battery; this will solve your problem.

Restart the smartphone

Sometimes we worry about things that don’t exist; generally, what happens is due to any bug, glitch, or heavy tasking that makes our smartphone unresponsive, and there you see the screen flickering problem. This can be easily solved by restarting the smartphone.

Remove the temperate glass of your smartphone

In some cases, this template glass or screen protector blocks the smartphone sensor. Try to remove it and check it again.

Reboot your smartphone

  • Press and hold the power button + volume down button of your smartphone for some seconds.
  • When you will see your screen will disappear at that time release both of these buttons power button and volume down button.
  • Now your smartphone will start performing force reboot it will take some time and after it when your smartphone will open at that time your problem will be also solved.

Correct your visibility enhancement

  • Open settings.
  • Then click on accessibility.
  • After it select visibility enhancement.
  • Disable the colour correction and it will solve your problem.

Check for hardware issues

As I have mentioned above, the hardware issue is also one of the major reasons for the problem. In most of the cases where I have seen this problem, our smartphone’s LCD display is connected with a flex cable to our motherboard. If it is damaged due to water damage or if you have dropped your smartphone and if any cut is there in the flex cable, then it will cause the problem, and if your display is broken, then it’s very obvious that it will cause this problem. Another reason behind this problem is a motherboard and battery issue. If there is any problem with your motherboard or if your battery is dead, then you will also see this problem.

To solve this problem, I strongly recommend that you check your smartphone at any authorised Samsung service centre near your locality. It is always best and safest to repair the smartphone at an authorised service centre first. They will diagnose the smartphone, and after identifying the issue, they will solve it. If you have a warrant and your damage is not affected by any physical damage, like, as I said, water damage, then you can just repair your smartphone at no cost.
